Weeks later....

Weeks later, I have finally managed to get back to Sullie's World. After many sicknesses, a holiday, and all of the "life" that has happened in between, here we are. To make up for the last couple of weeks I have decided to do "Brenna's December." So here are the first 11 days.

Brenna's December ~ The First 11 Days

1. Giving treats to Bailey is always more fun with Daddy.

2. Santa, I want you to know that I have been a very good girl this year, please bring me, well, lots of stuff...cause I am so cute!

3. I have decided that Dr. Spock has entirely too much to say.

4. Hmm..what should I do with this? Scribble or eat?

5. The polka dot dress.

6. Fixing furniture with daddy.

7. Open up and say....hurry check her mouth before she stuffs something else in there!

8. My puffy pink coat which I picked out all by myself. The other four coats just couldn't compare.

9. But I want to make more brownies...

10. Mommy's Christmas socks are much better than any socks I have.

11. I don't like him, he's scary, please don't let go of me, maybe if I hold tighter you won't make me do this, why? why? must I sit on his lap?

Who Knew???

Who knew that after all of the Pink Eye drama, we would end the week with:

1. A Trip to the Peds Emergency Room
2. A Double Ear Infection
3. A Terrible Diaper Rash
4. Coxsakie Virus (compliments of our friends at day care).
5. One runny nose, two teary eyes, and lots of "no-no mommy" head shaking.
6. One antibiotic.
7. One ointment a la diaper rash
8. Many doses of tylenol and ibuprofen (not at the same time of course!)

So, we spent the entire week of Thanksgiving together trying to feel better. Thankfully (no pun intended) she seems to be better and we can now move on to the remainder of the holiday season with smiles on our faces...not boogies on our noses!

Rock Star

A little over a week ago we attended the Special Care Nursery Reunion at the hospital where Brenna was born and spent her first 3 weeks. It was amazing to see how much the kids have grown and to spend some time with some of Brenna's nurses and Doctor Jeff.
